Among the unique features are the Twin Sisters. Both Sisters rise some 62 stories. The westernmost Sister is estimated at 3 billion years old and is one of the oldest exposed formations in the world. One and one half miles south of the Twin Sisters is the junction of the California and Salt Lake-California connection trails which the pioneers used.
